She believes in giving back to the community and has volunteered at the Central Virginia Legal Aid Pro Bono Attorney Hotline.

      Description: Develops and maintains a cohesive Intake Department team. Directly supervises, coaches and develops Intake Specialists on call handling, use of technology resources, client service, and overall performance. Manages intake of new cases for all branches, meeting with potential clients, interviewing new clients, evaluating the merits of a case, and making a determination as to whether the case should be accepted. Travel to branches or to meet clients required Follows established procedures to assign new cases to Attorney/Legal Assistant teams. Reviews reports of call intake and new cases to identify trends and to make recommendations for new procedures or changes. Ensures that Intake Specialists complete calls efficiently and effectively. Audits Intake Specialist call handling by periodically listening to calls directly and reviewing statistical reports of calls taken. Ensures that the Intake staff members follow Firm procedures such as client service, responsiveness, case merit evaluation, and other call handling processes. Handles elevated Intake department calls. Provides ongoing training and identifies training needs for Intake department. Works with Training Specialist to ensure timely and effective education is provided to the staff.
