Biography
I began as a Lawyer in Oregon with an almost exclusive criminal law practice. I relocated to Nebraska in November 2005 and began to focus on Family Law and Divorce and Juvenile Law. I also handle other civil types of legal issues. I have extensive litigation background and a successful history regarding criminal and family law outcomes.
While in Oregon, I was concurrently licensed in the State of Washington and in the DC Court of Appeals, and the US District Court for Oregon, and the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals.
I am now licensed in Nebraska and Iowa only, the 8th Circuit Court of Appeals, and the US District Court for Nebraska and Iowa.

Note: I worked extensively in 2005-2007, and currently with indigent and low income clients, and was awarded the "Pro Bono Attorney of the Year" by the Nebraska State Bar Association in 2009. I am currently a member of several Tribal Courts in Nebraska, and work in a South Omaha location with a heavy Hispanic population.

Completed third year of law school at Willamette University College of Law in Salem, Oregon as a "visiting student." Graduated December 1998 with J.D. from South Texas. During attendance at Willamette, completed internships with Native American Law Firm in Portland, Oregon, then, with the Office of Public Advocacy in Anchorage Alaska (Lawyer assigned to Child Dependency cases as Guardian ad Litem).
