Albert Cohen is the owner and founder of the Cohen & Cohen Personal Injury Lawyers, P.C. As a highly esteemed advocate, author, and community leader, Albert Cohen’s mission has been to improve the lives of his clients by helping them navigate through complexity of estate planning and elder law. Mr. Cohen has experienced firsthand how emotionally and financially devastating it can be not to have a proper estate plan. Mr. Cohen combines legal skills with compassion and understanding, in developing estate plans personalized to each client’s unique circumstances. He is known for his ability to reduce estate taxes, minimize or avoid the nightmare of probate and, most notably, to deliver well-crafted estate plans to clients based upon their lifestyles, professions, and specific situations. Mr. Cohen is a co-author of the book, Past, Present and Future: Guide to Leaving a Lasting Legacy. He is a frequent speaker and lecturer in the area of estate planning and elder law.

Mr. Cohen is an active leader in his community and has provided significant pro bono work for community members over the years. He has received both a community leadership award presented by U.S. Senator Charles E. Schumer and a Proclamation from the Council of the City of New York in honor of all of his outstanding service contributions.
