Alexis Sion Chavez

Alexis practices exclusively family law. Her approach to family law issues, such as divorce and child custody, is settlement-oriented and focuses on putting the family first. As an attorney with collaborative training, Alexis uses her background to successfully negotiate settlement agreements outside of the courtroom. Alexis's goal in every case is to minimize conflict and produce settlements that allow her clients to transition into new stages of their lives with ease and assurance. In circumstances where settlement is not an option, Alexis will confidently step into the court room and advocate for her clients' rights.

Prior to obtaining her law license in Colorado, Alexis practiced family law in the state of Florida. While engaged in private practice in Florida, Alexis also worked closely with the Guardian Ad Litem program in Seminole County, as a volunteer guardian advocating for the best interest of dependent children. This opportunity has allowed her to obtain invaluable experience, inside and outside of the courtroom, about navigating the family dynamic through a variety of tough emotional situations.

Alexis understands the challenges her clients face when presented with family law issues and strives to instill confidence in her clients with honesty, transparency, and a detailed walk through every step of the process. She believes that a key part of the attorney and client relationship is maintained through open lines of communication and mutual trust.
