Alyssa, a native of Jefferson County, Missouri, grew up in Cedar Hill with her parents and two older brothers. She attended Columbia College where she graduated in 2012 with a B.A. in Criminal Justice Administration. Throughout her time there, she received the Schiffman Ethics award and volunteered for the local community at the food bank and Central Missouri Humane Society. After graduating, Alyssa worked as a respite provider for families of special needs children and then worked as a paralegal, specializing in mass torts and civil litigation. After which, she went on to attend law school at Saint Louis University. While attending Saint Louis University, she worked as a law clerk, was a member of the Women's Law Student Association, and participated in the Phi Alpha Delta Mock Trial competition in Washington D.C. She graduated and passed the Missouri bar in 2020.
Upon graduating, she worked as an attorney for a St. Louis based law firm specializing in personal injury and product liability, specifically, in the area of mass torts. She is also a member of the Illinois bar and the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis.
Alyssa is excited to practice in Jefferson County where she has so many memories from her childhood and is surrounded by a community she loves.
She enjoys being outdoors, attending country concerts, watching her daughter play sports and take horseback riding lessons as well as traveling with her family. She also recently welcomed the newest addition to their family in March, a sweet baby boy.
