Mr. Burrell also remains active in the youth of the community by coaching baseball in the Bayou view area of Gulfport, and umpiring for the local high association. In 2001, Mr. Burrell coached a 16-year-old team, to fourth place finishes in both the Babe Ruth World and Police Athletic League National Championship.
Mr. Burrell is married and have 4 children. He is also the President of the Board of Directors for his children's school, Westminster Academy and supports and have worked with other charities in Mississippi and Louisiana.
