Anna Summersett is a Board Certified Criminal Law Specialist, which means she is considered an expert in criminal law and has achieved the highest designation an attorney can reach. An experienced trial attorney, Anna has has tried more than 100 cases before a jury, ranging from DWI to capital murder. As a partner at Varghese Summersett PLLC, Anna primarily handles serious state criminal cases from post-arrest investigation through jury trial. Anna graduated from Baylor University with B.A. in political science. She received her J.D. from Texas Wesleyan University School of Law, which later became Texas A&M University School of Law. Anna worked as a criminal prosecutor at the Cameron County District Attorney's Office and the Tarrant County District Attorney's Office before going into private practice and building the largest criminal defense firm in Tarrant County.
