Barry Chenman is an associate attorney in the Fort Lauderdale office of Steinger, Iscoe & Greene. A talented young attorney with an emphasis on trial victories, Mr. Chenman is a passionate advocate for those who have been injured. He worked as a law clerk for Steinger, Iscoe & Greene for three years and was hired as an attorney as soon as he passed the bar exam.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Chenman attended law school at Nova Southeastern University-Shepard Broad Law Center, where he distinguished himself as a fierce trial competition participant. He was an active member of the Moot Court Honor Society and the Nova Trial Association throughout his law school career, scoring victories in competitions for both groups. In 2014 he helped bring the NSU team to success in the American Bar Association national moot court competition. It was the first ever win for NSU in the Regionals, and Mr. Chenman's team placed 16 out of 200 teams in the Nationals. His success got him ranked in the Top 10 oral advocates nationwide. Upon graduation he won the "Order of the Barristers Award," a highly regarded and exclusive award recognizing excellence and leadership as an advocate.
Mr. Chenman earned his Juris Doctor degree and graduated Cum Laude. He joined Steinger, Iscoe & Greene in 2013 and passed his Florida State Bar exam in 2015. He now puts his substantial skill as a trial advocate to work for those who have been injured in accidents or through the negligence of others.
