Brian C. Christian

Brian has dedicated his career to fighting for the rights of his clients and protecting his clients from unfair treatment throughout the legal process. His skill, tenacity and aggressive representation have earned him respect among his peers, the judiciary and several awards in the legal community.

Brian was born in Norfolk, Virginia in 1976 and is a lifelong residence of Virginia Beach. He graduated from Norfolk Academy and furthered his education at West Virginia University. He earned his law degree from the T.C. Williams School of Law at the University of Richmond in 2002. In addition, he studied law in an elite and highly specialized program at Cambridge University in Cambridge, England.

Upon completing his legal studies, Brian immediately passed the Virginia State Bar in 2002 and has been practicing law in the Hampton Roads community ever since. Brian is currently a member of the family law and general practitioner's sections of the Virginia State Bar. He is also a member of the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association. Brian commenced his legal career working at the Virginia Beach City Attorney's Office where he represented the city in a variety of civil litigation matters. He subsequently joined a private law firm in Norfolk, Virginia where he practiced in a variety of civil litigation areas including representing both insurance companies and Plaintiffs in personal injury cases, homeowner's disputes, and contractor disputes. In 2005, Brian relocated his practice to his current location in Chesapeake, Virginia where he primarily concentrates his practice in the areas of family law, including divorce, custody and visitation, and support, personal injury, criminal and traffic defense, real estate, estate planning, elder law and a variety of civil litigation matters.

Due to his reputation and accomplishments, Brian has been selected as one of America's Top 100 High Stakes Litigators. He has also earned recognition by the American Institute of Family Law Attorneys as one of the ten best family law firms in Virginia due to his aggressive, skilled and effective representation of his family law clients.
