Britton practices primarily is in the area of Social Security Disability; however, she also has a background in Probate and Estate Planning, Family Law, Juvenile Law and Unemployment Law. Britton is a member of the National Organization of Social Security Claimant's Representatives.Her love of Social Security law began when she was successful in helping her uncle receive Social Security benefits. She's now been practicing in the area for over twelve years. In addition to private practice, Britton has also worked as a Hearings Officer for the Unemployment Compensation Review Commission from 2006-2009, and the Ohio Legislative Service Commission from 2003-2006.
She is a 2003 Graduate of Capital University Law School, where she earned distinction as a Member of the Order of the Curia and the CALI Award for Excellence in Adoption Law, and a proud 2000 graduate of Marshall University, where she received a B.A. in History, with a minor in Political Science.
Britton was born and raised in Huntington, West Virginia. Her family now lives in Grove City, Ohio, where she is a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help parish.
