Cari A. Whitmire

Cari Whitmire is an attorney in the Morgan & Morgan Business Trial Group. Ms. Whitmire focuses her practice on complex commercial litigation, including business torts and contract disputes, among other areas.Prior to joining the Business Trial Group, Ms. Whitmire participated in the Middle District of Florida, Tampa Division internship program, where she served as a judicial intern for a federal district court judge, federal magistrate judge, bankruptcy judge, and a Florida circuit court judge. Ms. Whitmire's experience in the internship program allowed her to develop working relationships with judges and familiarize herself with the inner workings of the courtroom and judge's chambers.

A Florida native, Ms. Whitmire received her Bachelor of Arts from the University of North Florida in 2015, where she participated as a student-athlete on the indoor and beach volleyball teams. She went on to earn her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Florida in 2018, where she graduated with honors. While in law school, Ms. Whitmire was an active member of the Florida Law Review and elected Executive Editor of the Florida Law Review Forum. She also served as a teaching assistant and a tutor for first-year law students.
