Mike A. D’Amico

As a dedicated trial lawyer in personal injury and medical malpractice, Mike is an active member of the Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association and the American Association for Justice.

Mike is the current President-Elect for the Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association, serves on its Board of Governors and on its Executive, Medical Malpractice and Legislative Committees. Mike is on the National Advisory Board of the Association of Plaintiff Interstate Trucking Lawyers of America. He is dual board-certified in civil trial advocacy and civil pretrial practice by the National Board of Trial Advocacy, and has served on the Board of Examiners for the National Board of Trial Advocacy.

He has been a Court Appointed Arbitrator/Fact- Finder in Civil Litigation, as well as a Special Settlement Master for Personal Injury claims in the State of Connecticut Superior Court.

Mike has again been named Lawyer of the Year by Best Lawyers® Mike has been selected Best Lawyers® 2016 Lawyer of the Year in the practice of Plaintiff's Medical Malpractice Law for the New Haven metropolitan area.

In 2015 Mike was named Lawyer of the Year by Best Lawyers® in the practice of Plaintiff's Personal Injury Litigation for the New Haven metropolitan area. He was also selected for inclusion in the 21st Edition of The Best Lawyers in America® in three practice areas: Plaintiff's Medical Malpractice Law; Plaintiff's Personal Injury Litigation and Plaintiff's Product Liability Litigation.

Mike has also been named to the Connecticut Law Tribune's Personal Injury Hall of Fame and is a Life Member of the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum.

Mike has been named yearly as a New England Super Lawyer since 2007 and a Connecticut Super Lawyer since 2006 by Law & Politics magazine in the practice area of plaintiff's personal injury.

In 2011/2012 and again in 2013, Mike was named to the Super Lawyers list of Top 50 Lawyers in Connecticut by Law & Politics magazine in the practice area of plaintiff's personal injury. Also in 2013, Mike was named to the New England Super Lawyers list of Top 100 attorneys in the practice of plaintiff's personal injury.

Mike has received the preeminent AV rating by Martindale-Hubbell and is listed in The Bar Register of Preeminent Lawyers. He has authored numerous articles in the fields of personal injury; medical negligence; and trial advocacy and has lectured frequently on these topics. Mike frequently serves as trial counsel for clients referred by other local and out-of-state law firms.
