      Biography

      Hadden began practice with his family as a third generation lawyer practicing with his grandfather W. Earl Dean, Sr. in Harrodsburg, Kentucky. Within a year Hadden was defending felony criminal matters including homicide cases. He was also able to practice personal injury law under the guidance of "Earl Sr." and continued to expand that practice and assist in other under the guidance of his grandfather.

      Hadden is an endless advocate and diligent litigator for victims injured in an accident. He focuses on doing his very best to help those left behind, including the creation of tax free trusts for surviving children. Hadden has recovered millions of dollars for victims involved in semi-trailer truck collisions, automobile, motorcycle and DUI related accidents, murder and other tragedies. He prides himself in the professional handling of matters by protecting the best interests of his clients and defending their rights against insurance companies to attain the best possible results.

      In May of 1997 Hadden accepted an offer as the Assistant Commonwealth's Attorney for the 50th Judicial Circuit (Mercer and Boyle Counties). James William "Bill" Barnett also offered him a position in the firm in May of 1997. Hadden participated in the resolution of hundreds of criminal cases until 2000. During his service as the Assistant Commonwealth's Attorney the office prosecuted three (3) death penalty cases. Hadden also served as a special prosecutor in Pulaski Circuit Court.

      Since 1997, Hadden also worked with James "Jimmy" Sheehan in the area of personal injury. That area included representation of injured parties and defending others. Hadden continues to carry on the tradition of representation of several insurers including Kentucky Farm Bureau (a client of the firm for over 60 years), Shelter Insurance Company, Lawyers Mutual Insurance Company, as well as the Mercer County Schools and other corporate and governmental/nonprofit organizations.

      Hadden is, and has been, very involved in his community. Those activities include the following: YMCA board member, Ragged Edge board member (former President), Harrodsburg Baptist Church (deacon/Sunday School teacher/youth activity leader). He has volunteered at local schools with their business/law classes, Mercer County Youth Soccer Association (board member). soccer coach, and basketball coach. His leisure interests including hunting, fishing, golf, running and spending time with his wife and three children.
