Jack graduated from McGeorge School of Law in 2002, with honors. Prior to entering law school Jack received degrees from Sierra Community College and CSU-Sacramento.
Jack is a former Deputy Attorney General with the California Department of Justice, representing the Parole Board, California prisons and Youth Authority as clients.
Jack's practice areas are Business Law (formation, litigation, contracts, consulting, employment), Intellectual Property (Trademark and Copyright), Government (licensing, policy and land use) and federal Indian law and policy.
Jack has litigated cases in state, federal and tribal courts and before administrative agencies. Jack has received published legal opinions in the California Appellate and Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, and has taken cases to the United States Supreme Court.
Jack serves as a tribal judge for Indian Tribes in California, Nevada and South Dakota.
Jack is a former Placer County Supervisor - District 1 (Roseville) 2010-2018.
