A native of Forney, Texas, Chelsea graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in professional writing from Baylor University and went on to earn her juris doctorate from the Baylor University School of Law. While there, she served as senior executive editor of the Baylor Law Review and as a member of the Christian Legal Society, the Public Interest Legal Society, and the Women’s Legal Society.
