Neil J. Gregorio is an attorney in the firm's Litigation Department where he has first-
chaired trials in federal and state courts, as well as represented employers before various
administrative agencies.Neil is a frequent speaker on employee benefits topics such as withdrawal liability
under the Multiemployer Pension Plan Amendments Act of 1980, which amendedthe Employee Retirement Income Security Act ("ERISA") to impose liability upon
employers that cease contributions to underfunded multiemployer defined benefit pensionNeil joined Tucker Arensberg after earning his law degree from the University of
Pittsburgh in 2003 where he was an editor of the Law Review. While in law school, Neil
clerked for the Honorable Donald E. Ziegler in the District Court for the Western District
of Pennsylvania and in the legal department of the UPMC Health System.
From 2008-2009, Neil worked as in-house counsel for FedEx Ground Package System,
Inc. before rejoining the firm in 2010.Neil graduated with honors from Duquesne University in 1998 with a B.S. in Business
Administration. While at Duquesne, Neil played basketball for the Dukes.As for pro bono work, Neil is Co-Chair of the Allegheny County Bar Association's
Backpack Project that donates backpacks and school supplies directly to elementary
school children in the most challenged areas of Pittsburgh. Neil also serves on the
Board of the Adams Ridge Homeowners Association and regularly represents victims at
protection from abuse hearings for Neighborhood Legal Services.Neil is admitted to practice before all Pennsylvania state courts. He is a member of the
