Christopher W. Cahillane is a shareholder in Tucker Arensberg's Litigation Department where he concentrates his practice in the representation of clients in complex and commercial litigation and business torts, such as breach of contract, breach of covenants not to compete and other restrictive covenants, theft of trade secret cases, defamation and corporate disparagement, corporate and successor liability cases, professional malpractice claims, claims of tortuous interference with contractual relations, directors and officers liability claims, and wrongful discharge claims.
Chris also has significant experience in providing clients with advice regarding insurance claims and insurance coverage matters, including guiding clients through the insurance claim process and representing clients in insurance coverage disputes, declaratory judgment actions, and bad faith actions.
Chris received his Bachelor of Arts degree from George Washington University and his law degree from the University of Pittsburgh. Prior to entering law school, Chris served as a legislative assistant to two mid-western Members of Congress in the U.S. House of Representatives in Washington, D.C. Chris is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar, and is admitted to practice before the United States District Courts for the Western and Middle Districts of Pennsylvania. He is also a member of the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.
Chris was named a 2005, 2006 and 2007 Pennsylvania "Rising Star" by Philadelphia Magazine and Pennsylvania Super Lawyers Magazine - a distinction granted to only 2.5 percent of Pennsylvania's lawyers.
