Teresa "Nicole" Saunders-Meske, was born and raised in southeastern, Ohio. Nicole self-financed her entire education graduating from The Ohio State University in 1992 with a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations with a focus on Economics and Spanish. She was a member of Phi Beta Delta, Honor Society for International Scholars. Nicole moved to Florida where she attended the University of Miami, School of Law, earning her Juris Doctorate in 1996. She worked at various law firms in Miami and Coral Gables, Florida from 1993-2006, founding the Florida law firm of Saunders-Meske, P.A. in 1999. In 2006, Nicole moved to West Virginia with her husband and three children. She maintained her practice in Florida and became a member of the District of Columbia bar in 2012 and West Virginia bar in 2013. Nicole taught as an adjunct professor at Blue Ridge Community and Technical College from 2009 until 2013, opening the West Virginia law firm of Saunders-Meske, PLLC in 2014. She is also licensed before the Supreme Court of the United States.
