A highly experienced litigator, Mike Patterson has tried hundreds of cases with complex federal income tax to substantial personal injury and death cases. Mike has served as the Chief Federal Law Enforcement Officer for North Florida. He also exercised authority over all civil cases in North Florida in which the United States was a party. Mike has represented developers and citizens groups in environmental cases and obtained the largest environmental judgment in North Florida history. Mike has substantial experience in the application and enforcement of health care laws and regulations and has personally managed many Medicare and Medicaid investigations.
As United States Attorney, all medical malpractice litigation against government physicians and hospitals in North Florida were managed by Mike and all settlements of these cases were personally reviewed and approved by him. Mike has testified on prosecutorial ethics before the United States Senate Judiciary Committee.
He will concentrate his legal practice in personal injury, death cases, complex civil litigation, employment law, and health care law.
