Due to his passion to protect the rights of the residents throughout Hawaii, Attorney James T. Leavitt founded Leavitt, Yamane & Soldner more than 30 years ago. Prior to becoming a personal injury lawyer, Attorney Leavitt attended University of Michigan Law School where he earned his Juris Doctorate in 1966. He first arrived to Hawaii as a United States Marine Corps Judge Advocate General and was assigned to the 14th Naval District in Pearl Harbor.
During his time in the service, Attorney Leavitt made friends with Hawaiian natives and civilians. When he was offered a position at the Hawaii Public Defenders Office, he gladly accepted the offer. Since then, he has practiced law in the state of Hawaii for over four decades. He is committed to an excellent work ethic and is relentless in pursuing maximum compensation on behalf of his clients. No matter what that case is, he stands by his clients from the moment he takes their case to the second they are able to recover compensation. When you need aggressive representation, contact Attorney Leavitt.
