Paul L. Mangieri has been in the practice of law for over 36 years. Upon graduation from law school in 1984, he proudly volunteered for service with the U.S. Navy as a JAG Corps Officer. He served aboard the aircraft carrier USS Saratoga (CV-60), seeing two deployments overseas. Upon his release from active duty he began the private practice of law with the firm of Barash & Stoerzbach. From 1988 until 1996, Paul represented the citizens of west central Illinois in all areas of the law, but specialized in trial litigation, both civil and criminal, and had areas of specialty in personal injury, workers’ compensation, and commercial claims. From 1996 until 2007, he served as the elected Knox County State’s Attorney. From 2007 until 2019, Paul was a Circuit Court Judge for the Ninth Judicial Circuit where he presided over every type of legal claim.
