Jawan Finley Esq.

Jawan Finley, Esq. joined the firm as a Legal Secretary in 1993. She later went to law school, while working full time. Once she was admitted to the practice of law, in 2002, she became an associate of the firm.

Mrs. Finley is a mother of two and has a passion for family law. She heads our Matrimonial division along with Anthony Mallilo, Esq. She is also experienced in all areas of family law, personal injury, real estate and general practice. She has handled custody cases, support cases and divorces from the filing of a Petition to trial. In addition, she has handled matrimonial matters including prenuptials, uncontested divorces, post judgment actions and contested divorces from the filing to trial.

Mrs. Finley received her undergraduate degree from the University of Central Florida in 1992 with a dual degree in legal studies and psychology. Thereafter she obtained her juris doctorate from Jacob D. Fuchsberg Touro Law Center. Mrs. Finley is admitted to practice law before the Courts of the State of New York. She is a member of the National Bar Association, the American Bar Association and the Queens Bar Association.
