Jeff Aultman

My name is Jeff Aultman and I grew up in Coupeville, Washington. My parents ran a cabinet business there before starting a small residential construction business. I learned from them the meaning of a dollar and hard work.

After obtaining a degree in aeronautical science, I served in the U.S. Air Force. I then went to law school in Texas. Following graduation, I took a job with the largest civil litigation law firm in Spokane. I then returned to Texas to work at a nationally-known civil litigation firm in San Antonio before moving to Tri-Cities, WA.

After nearly 20 years of practicing law, I have handled hundreds of civil cases, some simple and some complex. I have tried cases to juries in Washington, Idaho, and Texas. I have also spoken at several continuing legal education seminars for attorneys and served as a guest judge at Gonzaga University School of Law. My areas of practice are Business Litigation, Construction Defect, Insurance Defense, and Personal Injury.

In my experience, most clients don't want their cases resolved at a trial. I appreciate that. The reality is over 90% of cases settle before trial. So, it's more likely your case will settle and not require a jury trial. But I prepare every case as if it will go to trial because an attorney who only prepares a case for settlement is an unprepared attorney. You need an attorney who is prepared and capable of presenting your case to a jury if necessary.
