Peter D. Rigelhaupt

Peter D. Rigelhaupt joined The Perecman Firm after already establishing a fruitful 20-year litigation career. His past experience includes defending attorneys against legal malpractice actions, experience that lends him in-depth understanding of the other side of the docket. Not only is Peter a skilled courtroom litigator, but he is also well known for his writing skills and extensive knowledge of law. As such, it is fitting him to head The Perecman Firm’s motion and appellate practice group. In this capacity, he regularly finds himself before the First and Second Departments of the Appellate Division. He has nearly 50 of these types of cases to his credit.

Peter has been named to the list of New York Super Lawyers, is a member of the New York State Bar Association and New York State Trial Lawyers Association, and is admitted to the bars of New York, U.S. District Court Eastern and Southern Districts of New York, and the U.S. Court of Appeals 2nd Circuit.
