Jeffrey Chien

Jeffrey Chien is an Associate Attorney at Kring & Chung, LLP's main office in Irvine, California. Mr. Chien's practice focuses on business litigation and transactions, contracts, and intellectual property law.

Mr. Chien earned his Juris Doctor from University of Southern California, Gould School of Law in 2019. He also earned a Business Law Certificate while he attended law school. He was a member of the Business Law Society and Intellectual Property & Technology Law Society.

While in law school, Mr. Chien clerked for a law firm that handled business and intellectual property matters. Many clients he assisted were small business owners in the Chinese community. Mr. Chien explained unfamiliar processes to these clients in their native language. For example, Mr. Chien played a pivotal role in assisting a Mandarin-speaking client in bringing an energy drink from conception to United States-based production and market.

Prior to law school, Mr. Chien earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from California State University, Los Angeles. He was a admitted through the university's Early Entrance Program, which allowed him to begin his undergraduate education at the age of fifteen.

During his free time, Mr. Chien enjoys weight training, camping, and off-roading.
