David Thatcher received his Bachelor of Arts Degree from Dickinson College in Carlisle, Pennsylvania in 1988. He went on to earn his Juris Doctor Degree from Capital University Law School, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. During his academic career, Mr. Thatcher was invited to serve on the Editorial Board of the Capital University Law Review.
Mr. Thatcher is a member of the Camden County and New Jersey State Bar Associations and has been a partner with the law firm since 1992.
He is admitted to practice law in the State of New Jersey, Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Federal Courts for the Third Circuit District of New Jersey and Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
As a former prosecutor and public defender, Mr. Thatcher gained extensive experience in courtroom litigation. He is a former municipal prosecutor for the Township of Waterford and the public defender for Winslow Township.
Mr. Thatcher is the former Mayor of Laurel Springs, where he served from 2000 through 2007. During his tenure as Mayor he was elected as President of the Camden County Mayors' Association. He also served on the Camden County Open Space and Preservation Trust Committee.
Mr. Thatcher has a general practice of law which includes Personal injury, Family Law/Divorce, Civil and Commercial Litigation, Elder and Estate Law, Municipal Court, Local Land Use and Real Estate Law.
