Jeremy J. Jacobs is an associate in the Tampa office of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A., where he practices in the areas of general liability and workers' compensation defense.
Mr. Jacobs received his Juris Doctor in 2008 from the Cumberland School of Law at Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama and a Bachelor of Science in marketing from Florida State University in 2004.
While in law school, he served as a student editor for the American Journal of Trial Advocacy and was selected as a Caruthers Teaching Fellow assisting first year law students with legal research and writing. Mr. Jacobs was a winner of the 2006 Donworth Moot Court Competition and served on the Henry Upson Sims Moot Court Board. In addition, he received book awards in Product Liability, Law Office Practice and Management, Pretrial Practice, and Sales. At graduation, Mr. Jacobs was nominated by his school's faculty to Who's Who Among Students in American Universities and honored with the Spirit of Service Award in recognition of his commitment to community service.
Mr. Jacobs is licensed to practice law in Florida and is a member of the American Bar Association as well as the Young Lawyers Division of The Florida Bar.
Prior to joining QPWB, Mr. Jacobs concentrated his practice in the defense of workers' compensation claims.
