Biography
Attorney Jeremy M. Burnside is an aggressive personal injury, brain injury, nursing abuse and neglect, and wrongful death lawyer who gets results. Jeremy also carries with him an unwavering passion for his clients and prides himself on his ability to solve complicated issues. Born and raised on the near West Side of Cleveland, Ohio, Jeremy maintains strong ties to Old Brooklyn, Brooklyn, Parma, Parma Heights and Brookpark. In 2009, and after five intense years in the courtroom litigating tough personal injury cases in Cuyahoga, Lorain, Lake, Stark and Summit Counties, Jeremy returned to Appalachia -- near the homes of his West Virginia and Kentucky forefathers and settled down ion Portsmouth, Ohio. Here, Jeremy was able to exercise his desire to to become a small town lawyer. Armed with his big city experience, and small town compassion, he has built Burnside Law to be one of the best personal injury firms in the Ohio Valley.
Jeremy has tried several important cases to juries, including cases that have ranged from serious personal injury to aggravated murder. His passion for jury trials is exhibited in the mock courtroom located predominately in his law office.
Jeremy enjoys rowing, writing and running. He is married to local real estate broker, Maddie Burnside, and together they have two beautiful daughters. Jeremy is a proud parishioner of St. Mary's Catholic Church, where he serves on the finance committee and frequent lector during Mass.
