Upon graduation from law school I began practicing law with a small law firm in Arlington Virginia. There I assisted clients with criminal, traffic, divorce, and bankruptcy matters. The law firm disolved and I obtained a position with Pennisula Legal Aid. I spent ten years with legal aid assisting clients with divorce, custody, support, disablity, and landlord tenant matters. After ten years with legal aid I obtianed a position with the Newport News Public Defender's office. The public defender assigned me to the Juvenile Court team where I spent eight years defending almost every type of criminal matter. As an assistant public defender I litiagted cases in the juvenile court and conducted judge and jury trials in Circuit Court. Upon leaving that office I entered private practice with the John W. Lee P.C. law firm. At my present position I continued to provide defense in criminal and traffic case. Also, I represent clients in divorces, family law, landlord tenant matters, and bankruptcy cases.
