Jibit Cinar

Jibit Cinar specializes in litigation and counseling related to employment and labor law. She solely represents employers in all areas of employment and labor law including, but not limited to, wrongful termination, wages, overtime, meal and rest periods, Title VII discrimination, pregnancy discrimination, disability discrimination, harassment, and breach of contract. Mrs. Cinar also defends employers in class action lawsuits for wage and hour law violations.

Jibit Cinar also provides relevant advice and training to employers on a variety of employment law issues, including compliance with wage and hour laws, EEO, disability and leave laws, discipline and termination, employment agreements, confidentiality agreements, and measures to avoid litigation. She also provides advice and representation in administrative hearings, mediation, arbitration, and settlement proceedings related to employment claims.

Jibit Cinar earned her undergraduate degree from the University of California, Los Angeles in 2000. In 2003, she graduated from Loyola Marymount University School of Law, Los Angeles. Thereafter, she worked in the law firm environment until 2009 when she decided to start her own law practice.

She is a member of the California State Bar Labor and Employment Section, as well as a member of the Orange County Bar Association's Labor and Employment, Solo and Small Firm, and Mommy, Esq. sections. Between 2013-2016, Mrs. Cinar also served on the California State Bar Solo and Small Firm Section's Executive Committee.

Mrs. Cinar has been named a Super Lawyer Rising Star for the years 2013-2017. She lives and works in Orange County, with her husband Pierre and her daughters, Lara and Liana.
