I had an unintentional speeding violation. But the overall consequences of this, I estimated was too much and burdensome for me to take care this by myself. My family lives out of state. My 20 year old college son received a speeding ticket that wasn’t horrible but it meant his and our family insurance rates would go up a good bit for 5 years. We wanted to go the driving class route to avoid points but found you can’t when you don’t live there. We also discovered that while the points in SC were viewed as a 3 point ticket, it was a 4 point reckless driving ticket once transferred to the state we live in! The officer did not view him as reckless driving and he was not charged as such but just a small difference of 1 or 2 miles on paperwork transferring to another state … can make a huge difference and can cause the ticket to be charged differently. We quickly decided 5 years of increased rates was far worse than hiring help to reduce the ticket. We were quickly in touch with Adam Russo who did an amazing job and was very informative and dedicated in getting us the best outcome. The case was DISMISSED!!!! We were jumping for joy!
