Delaina Davis Boyd

Dee was born in Clinton, N.C., on August 29, 1974. She attended North Carolina State University and Meredith College and graduated with honors from North Carolina State University in 1995. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in marketing education with a minor in business administration. Dee was the Student of the Year in the College of Occupational Education while attending North Carolina State University and served as the Student Government President for the College of Occupational Education.

After teaching business and marketing in the Harnett County Public Schools, she attended the Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law at Campbell University, graduating in 1999. While at Campbell, Dee was a member of the Phi Alpha Delta legal fraternity.

Dee is licensed to practice before all North Carolina Courts, as well as the United States District Court for the Eastern District of North Carolina.

She is a member of the North Carolina State Bar, the North Carolina Bar Association, the North Carolina Advocates for Justice and the Eighth Judicial District Bar Association. Dee serves as the parent attorney for Family Dependency Treatment Court.

Dee's practice is concentrated in the areas of criminal law, domestic law and juvenile law, and social security disability.

In her spare time, Dee enjoys the wonderful fishing and boating opportunities in our Eastern North Carolina region, along with spending as much time as possible with her family.
