John P. Jimenez

John P. Jimenez, is a 1998 graduate of the Washington University in St. Louis, School of Law. Prior to attending law school, John earned a Bachelor of Arts in Classics, cum laude, from Washington University in St. Louis. John started his career as a Corporation Counsel for the City of Chicago, initially acting as its prosecutor and then promoted to act as counsel and legal advisor for the City’s Buildings and Land Development Department and finally the City’s special litigation unit attorney. After almost 12 years with the City of Chicago, John moved to Las Vegas, Nevada in the summer of 2009.

Since being admitted to practice in Nevada, he has specialized in representing, Fortune 500 Companies, the City of Henderson, NV, Real Estate Investment Trusts and local businesses in a wide range of matters from insurance defense, corporate governance, premise liability, general liability, and product liability. John is also admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the District of Nevada and the Northern District Court of Illinois. When not in court or at the office, John loves to spend time with his wife and children, traveling and discovering new places to eat.
