      Biography

      A partner at Levy Konigsberg LLP, John Paul Guinan focuses on toxic tort litigation, including asbestos and mesothelioma cases. Prior to joining LK, John was an associate for several years at Paul Hanley & Harley, a plaintiffs' toxic tort firm in California. At Paul Hanley & Harley, John represented numerous individuals suffering from mesothelioma and other asbestos related injuries.

      John is admitted to practice law in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and California.

      John graduated from St. Joseph's University, in 1993, and from Widener University School of Law, in 1996. At Widener, he specialized in environmental law, and was frequently named to the Dean's List. After law school, John worked for four years as a staff attorney and lobbyist for the Public Interest Research Group, a non-profit consumer and environmental watchdog organization. While there, he worked on a variety of clean air and energy related issues.

      John lives in New York with his wife Jennifer.
