IBOLD & O’BRIEN was formed by the merger of the law practices of Jerry Petersen and Dennis J. Ibold, in 1980. Since then they have built Petersen & Ibold into one of the largest law firms in Geauga County. In addition, they have added a second office in Ashtabula County to better serve the needs of their growing client base.

Ibold & O’Brien established itself as one of Geauga County’s leading law firms by providing outstanding legal advice, representation, and advocacy across a wide range of legal specialties including family law, personal injury, real estate & zoning, criminal defense, wills, probate, estate planning, and elder law, business and corporate, employee representation, worker’s compensation, bankruptcy, school law, and product liability.
