      Biography

      Joe Fried is among the top truck crash lawyers in the United States. Based out of Atlanta, Georiga, he has handled cases in over 35 States with recoveries over $1 billion. He is the founder of the Academy of Truck Accident Attorneys, past Chair do the American Association of Justice Trucking Litigation Group, and past President of the National Trial Attorneys Trucking Trial Lawyers. Joe has authored books, DVDs, and peer-reviewed articles on handling commercial motor vehicle cases and has given over 600 presentations to lawyer, judge, and law enforcement audiences on commercial vehicle-related subjects as well as on all aspects of preparing and trying civil cases.

      Joe has been recognized by various lawyer organizations around the country for his leadership and success - Best Lawyers, SuperLawyers, Lawyer of Distinction, Lawyer of the Year, etc.

      Joe is a former police officer and a true safety advocate. He brings a unique background to his cases with his knowledge of physics, mechanics, accident investigation, and reconstruction, as well as human psychology, psychodrama, neurolinguistic programming, and storytelling.         Joe has risen to the pinnacle of his profession by specializing in handling trucking collisions. Because of his specialization and trial skills, he has obtained numerous verdicts over $1,000,000. I would trust my family and friends to Joe and his firm.

        I hired Fried law firm in 2016 to handle my truck crash injuries, after being rear-ended on interstate.. They had my case 2 yrs..After missing Court deadlines numerous times, and not responding to COURT ORDERS,Judge seemed to become impatient with the firm and its Lawyers and was getting ready to set Trial date. Joe and his team did not do one deposition with any of my MANY Health providers before trial and Joe and his lawyers ALL abruptly abandoned my case at this time when Judge was getting ready to set trial.. Not only did they abandon me at my lowest point, but also failed to tell me Defendants had made an Offer or Judgement on my case, and later I almost had to pay ALL Defenses legal costs, and I then had to settle for a tiny amount that was a tiny fraction of even my medical bills , because of Joe Fried Firm’s errors/omissions. In my opinion, unless you have had a Catastrophic injury or death( worth many millions) this firm and its junior attorneys will probably only try to settle your case, and do little to prepare for an actual trial… and may then abandon cases right before Trial when they see no fair settlement is being offered.Because of the way they handled my case, I would never recommend them. Joe also never returned all my case files afterwards against my many requests. He told me not to contact them anymore.
