Emily L. Tramont

Emily Tramont is an associate at Mark L. Karno and Associates, LLC. Her practice focuses on personal injury matters ranging from automobile accidents to premises slip and fall claims. She helps injured plaintiffs recover against individuals and businesses in negligence and wrongful death cases.

A graduate of the UIC John Marshall Law School, Emily has been practicing since 2016. While in law school, she interned in the Felony Division of the Chicago Public Defender's Office. Prior to law school, Ms. Tramont graduated from Wellesley College. While in college, she interned at the Massachusetts Attorney General's Office where she investigated white-collar crime. At Wellesley, Emily played on the college's tennis team and was president of the debate team.

Prior to joining the firm, Emily worked as a defense attorney representing insurance companies and their insured in personal injury matters ranging from nursing homes to bars being sued under the Dram Shop act. Her prior experience as a defense attorney provides Emily with insight which greatly contributes to her negotiations with insurance companies to secure settlements and try cases when necessary.

Emily was born and raised in Miami Florida and is licensed in Illinois state and federal court. She is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association.
