Mr. Elio, a Colorado native, has a diverse background in law with an emphasis in litigation, developed through experience as a Deputy District Attorney, as a United States Securities and Exchange Enforcement Attorney, and an Associate Municipal judge. Although he believes it is always in the best interest of the client to negotiate resolution through mediation and other settlement vehicles, he has extensive litigation experience in the event that settlement is unsuccessful. He has litigated cases in the following areas of law: bankruptcy, collection, contract, criminal, family, general commercial, insurance bad faith, personal injury, securities, landlord/tenant and estate litigation. He has argued appellate cases before the Colorado Supreme Court and Court of Appeals.
