      Biography

      Joe Salvi was born and raised in Lake County, Illinois. He attended the University of Notre Dame, where he received his bachelor's degree in Political Science with a minor in Economics. Before attending law school, Joe worked in politics as a campaign manager for a successful U.S. House campaign and as an intern for the National Economic Council in the White House. Joe then went on to earn his Juris Doctorate from the University of Illinois College of Law, where he graduated in the top 10% of his class in 2020. During his time in law school, Joe was the President of Student Legal Relief, a club which traveled to provide free legal assistance to impoverished areas in New Orleans, Louisiana during winter break. He also was the Vice President of the Federalist Society and completed internships with the Illinois House of Representatives and the Lake County State's Attorney's Office (Civil Division). Joe also provided free legal assistance to veterans in the law school's Veterans' Legal Clinic. During law school, Joe worked as a law clerk at Salvi & Maher but officially joined the firm as an attorney in January 2021 after being sworn into the Illinois bar. Joe specializes in all areas of personal injury law including auto accidents, slip and falls, dog bites, defective products, and wrongful death.

      Joe currently lives in Wilmette, Illinois with his wife. He is the assistant hockey coach at Carmel Catholic High School in Mundelein, Illinois.
