Biography
I graduated from the University of Mississippi and the University of Miami School of Law.
I served as a deans fellow for law professor's for three semesters; I taught study courses in: contracts & criminal procedures as well as a general how to pass law American law study course.
I have worked in various areas of the law. I have spent time working for the public defender in the juvenile division. I have spent time working for a law firm focused on construction law. However, I have always been most interested in personal injury law; which lead to my receiving the "book" award for obtaining the highest grade in the class in my Torts class.
My interest in personal injury stems from my own history with negligent drivers. When I was 18-years old, a driver ran a light failing to yield the right of way and causing me to T-bone her SUV while driving 45 MPH on my motorcycle. I suffered over 60 broken bones including 8 compression fractures in my spine. I flatlined numerous times and ultimately required 7 major surgeries (to date). I suffered a massive Traumatic Brain Injury and did not know what to do or where to begin.
I hired an attorney and he took care of everything. My attorney helped me get my life back. Now I spend my life trying to help others the way he helped me.
