      Biography

      Everett Hinchcliffe is a senior partner with Braden, Hinchcliffe & Hawley and practices primarily in the firm's Los Angeles office. He has been with the firm since 1991. Mr. Hinchcliffe serves as the firm's Litigation Director overseeing all litigation, and handles all major trials.

      Mr. Hinchcliffe has practiced as an attorney since 1974, litigating more than 50 cases to jury verdicts, including complex personal injury, professional liability, and employment cases. In his most recent jury trial, he successfully defended a medical practice in a highly contentious and potentially high-exposure sexual harassment and wrongful termination case.

      Mr. Hinchcliffe's background includes experience with a large civil litigation firm, having handled high-exposure cases in addition to maintaining his own practice in business and personal injury litigation. Mr. Hinchcliffe is also experienced in subrogation litigation.

      In 1967, Mr. Hinchcliffe graduated from California State University, Los Angeles with a degree in electrical engineering. In 1969, he earned his master's degree from the same university. He earned his law degree cum laude from Loyola University in 1974.

      Mr. Hinchcliffe is admitted to practice before all State courts. In addition, he is admitted to practice before the United States District Court's Central district of California and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. Mr. Hinchcliffe is also a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates.
