      Biography

      Justin Smith joined the firm in 2006. He practices in the areas workers' compensation and insurance defense.

      Justin was awarded the Hatton W. Sumners Scholarship at the Oklahoma City University School of Law. He is a member of the Phi Delta Phi International Legal Fraternity.

      He is a member of the State Bar of South Dakota, the American Bar Association and is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the District of South Dakota. Justin was named to the Board of the Second Circuit Bar Association in 2008 and currently serves as President. He is also a member of the Defense Research Institute, the South Dakota Defense Lawyers Association, the Knights of Columbus, and is active in various programs at St. Joseph's Cathedral of Sioux Falls. Justin also serves on the Board of the St. Francis House.
