Everyone we came in contact with was professional, helpful, and courteous. We delayed quite a bit from our original appointment to update our trust and were sent friendly reminders to schedule an appointment to follow-up. We finally completed our trust and it was a very positive experience.

The lawyer and legal aide I worked with were very efficient at getting started by having me fill out questionnaire at the beginning. The lead attorney, Lisa Monnette, and the Legal Aide, Barbara Alford, quickly generated a case overview and outline for proceeding ahead. They were very helpful in explaining what would happen and educated me on legal language. I feel they did an excellent job. They were both easy to work with and encouraged me to ask questions and contact them by email or phone. They made me feel comfortable when I was lost in the use of legal terms. Signing documents was very easy, I signed documents at the reception desk and set my own times to come in for signing. The retainer fee I paid at the beginning was right on the mark for my costs.

After 30 years of marriage, and the initial consultation, I told my ex-wife I had hired Mr. Wenk for the divorce. She snapped back that she “would make this the worst divorce”, and then her attack began by hiring opposing counsel and filing as the petitioner ahead of me. Throughout the divorce, the ex-wife and her counsel were aggressive and angry, using abusive and defamatory words to make false claims to posture and attack to split our estate in her favor. In the early part of this humiliating attack, I called the office and spoke with Tammy, the paralegal. She reassured me that I did not have to succumb to bullying. My life changed then significantly for the better. Ultimately, ex-wife’s legal aggressions were futile. Russ Wenk is an Esquire Extraordinaire. He knew everything about how and what to do. I had fairness in the hearings and mediation. Mr. Wenk was able to communicate in a great way achieve legal results and so that the judge and mediator could see ex-wife’s and her counsel’s absurdities. After the day of mediation, I felt like Russ was good friend. A settlement was reached. Accounts were split in accordance with the complex mediation agreement. Investment properties were sold and proceeds were split. At this time, ex-wife continues with dragging acceptance of the split of the estate, and I continue with legal collections of a small amount due to me from her.
