While in law school, Mrs. Neal served as a judicial intern for County Court Judge Shawn Crane, and was certified by the Florida Supreme Court as a Judicial Intern for the Sixth Circuit State Attorney's Office. She won the St. Petersburg Times Award for the Best Competition Paper and was a senior associate of the Stetson Law Review. Additionally, Mrs. Neal received the highest score in Stetson's Spring 2004 Appellate Advocacy class after drafting an appellate brief and delivering an oral argument to several Justices of Florida's Second District Court of Appeal.
Mrs. Neal began working as a law clerk for Carey & Leisure while still in law school and, upon graduation, became a Clearwater personal injury lawyer with the firm and is now a partner.
