Description: I prepared settlement paperwork for clients that were eligible to recover from the Dupont C-8 MDL settlement. I also attended and aided in the deposition of an executive for a products case. At the end of the summer, I attended a trial for a MVA scooter accident, preparing for trial every morning and doing research in the evenings. The research was primarily focused around evidentiary standards of expert testimony and what types of comments are allowed/not allowed in closing arguments.

Description: Did research on criminal law, and constitutional issues arising in prisons. Summarized upcoming legislative changes that would impact criminal law. Prepared a presentation and mock trial for the Explorers pre law enforcement organization.
