Sean O. McCrary

Sean O. McCrary was born and raised in Gulfport, Mississippi. He joined the firm of Franklin D. Azar & Associates, P.C. in October 2016. Mr. McCrary has represented thousands of Americans injured by dangerous pharmaceutical and medical devices. He has been licensed to practice law in Colorado since 2013 and California since 2011.

Mr. McCrary received his undergraduate degree in Biology from the University of Mississippi in 2007 and his Juris Doctor from Mississippi College School of Law in 2010. Shortly after graduating law school, Mr. McCrary began his legal career at a Los Angeles based law firm focusing on pharmaceutical and medical device personal injury cases. He was tasked with managing the firm's Shoulder Pain Pump, Byetta/Januvia, Avandia, and Advair dockets, litigating those cases in national Multidistrict Litigation and California Judicial Council Coordinated Proceedings.

In 2012, Sean McCrary moved to Colorado to continue his career at a Denver based law firm with a practice dedicated to pharmaceutical and medical device personal injury cases. In 2013, he was appointed by the Honorable Gail Andler to act as Plaintiffs' Co-Lead Counsel and Plaintiffs' Steering Committee Member in Judicial Council Coordinated Proceeding No. 4615 (JCCP 4615), In Re: Infusion Pain Pump Cases in Orange County, California. Sean was also heavily involved in MDL 2326, In Re: Boston Scientific Corp. Pelvic Repair System Products Liability Litigation, acting as Senior Associate to Plaintiffs' National Co-Lead Counsel in the MDL.

Mr. McCrary has had an integral role in the following cases: Risperdal and Invega Products Liability litigation (JCCP 4775) , Cook IVC Filter Injury Litigation (MDL 2570), Ethicon Power Morcellator Litigation (MDL 2652), NFL Players Concussion Litigation (MDL 2323), Actos Products Liability Litigation (MDL 2299), Transvaginal Mesh Products Liability Litigation (MDLs 2325, 2326, 2327, and 2187), Yaz and Yasmin Liability Litigation (MDL 2100), and Hydroxycut Products Liability litigation (MDL 2087).

In addition to his work in pharmaceutical and medical device litigation, Mr. McCrary has also represented plaintiffs in employment discrimination actions, premises liability actions, and other personal injury cases. In his spare time, he enjoys playing golf and spending time with his wife, Margaret. Sean is most proud of becoming a father and enjoying moments with his daughter, Molly Katherine.
