Kerri N. Kramer is a Senior Associate Attorney in our Irvine, California office. Her primary practice area is Employment Law. Ms. Kramer specializes in providing advice and counsel to employers, including preparation of handbooks and policies, assistance with workplace investigations, and training employees.
Ms. Kramer also regularly represents clients in all areas of employment litigation. Ms. Kramer focuses on complex actions, including class action and Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA) matters. She has also successfully represented her clients in individual litigation and arbitrations, including those involving claims of discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, misclassification, and retaliation.
Ms. Kramer has also represented her clients before governmental agencies, including the United States Department of Labor (DOL), California Division of Labor Standards Enforcement (DLSE), California Civil Rights Division (formerly known as the Department of Fair Employment and Housing or DFEH), California Employment Development Department (EDD), and the California Occupational Safety and Health Administration (CAL/OSHA) Appeals Board.
Ms. Kramer has been recognized in the 2022 and 2023 editions of Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch in America© for her work in the areas of Labor and Employment Law - Management and Litigation - Labor and Employment.
Ms. Kramer earned her Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from Chapman University Dale E. Fowler School of Law in 2017 with an emphasis in Business Law. At Chapman, Ms. Kramer was honored with various awards, including the Rutan & Tucker Golden Quill Award for the best legal brief and the National Order of Scribes Outstanding Law Graduate Award. Ms. Kramer also served as an articles editor for the Chapman Law Review, where her note was selected for publication.
Prior to law school, Ms. Kramer earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, magna cum laude, from San Diego State University, with an emphasis in Management. During her undergraduate career, Ms. Kramer was welcomed as a member of five national and international honor societies. Ms. Kramer serves as a member of the SDSU PreLaw Board and is helping to launch the Aztec Law Alumni Chapter.
