Krista Tushar is a partner in the Denver office of Burleson LLP. Her practice focuses on oil and gas matters, and she also has broad experience in a variety of business litigation.
Krista represents clients in disputes over the interpretation of oil and gas assignments, oil and gas partnership agreements, working interest ownership and participation agreements, purchase and sale agreements, and joint operating agreements. These disputes have primarily involved interests in Colorado, Montana, Wyoming and Utah.
In addition, Krista has represented clients in a variety of clients in business and commercial disputes, including FINRA disputes, contracts between a major grain dealer and agricultural producers, employment and discrimination suits, noncompete agreement disputes, partnership disputes, construction disputes, including representation of homeowners, contractors and subcontractors, and negotiation of separation agreements. She frequently assists commercial property owners in eviction matters, lease disputes, defense of premises liability claims, partition actions, and other commercial matters.
Krista is the President of the Board of Women's Crisis and Family Outreach Center.
