Kristina Akers is an Associate Attorney for the Law Offices of Samer Habbas & Associates. Before the firm, Akers earned her undergraduate degree in Anthropology at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). She then went on to achieve her Juris Doctor (JD) at Pepperdine University School of Law. While in school, she interned at the Los Angeles District Attorney's office in the Victim Impact Program, as well as a Student Attorney in Pepperdine Law's Restoration & Justice Clinic. Akers also gained experience working for a firm that practiced family law and civil litigation. Aside from earning her JD, Akers received a certificate in Dispute Resolution from the Straus Institute at Pepperdine Law, which is known as the top program in the country. After law school, Akers joined the firm as a Legal Intern while she studied for her bar examination.
Akers' drive for pursuing a career in law was to be a part of making a difference in bettering someone's life. Her strong sense of justice drove her to fight for the compensation her clients deserve. Akers specifies in various practice areas such as personal injury, slip and fall injuries, and auto accidents. Akers is currently a member of the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles (CAALA), Consumer Attorneys of California (CAOC), and Orange County Trial Lawyers Association (OCTLA).
