Kristopher K. Madsen

Kristopher Madsen was born and raised in Council Bluffs. Upon graduating from high school he went away to St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota, obtaining double majors in English and Political Science. After college he attended and graduated from Drake University in Des Moines with his Juris Doctorate. He then returned to his home town of Council Bluffs and began practicing law at Stuart Tinley Law Firm, LLP.Since beginning practicing law in 1989, Mr. Madsen has devoted his practice almost entirely to civil litigation. He practices throughout the State of Iowa and in the State of Nebraska in Federal and State Courts.

Mr. Madsen is regarded as one of the finest trial lawyers in the State of Iowa and has received numerous honors. He is listed in The Best Lawyers in America and has been recognized as one of the Best Lawyers in the Omaha Metropolitan Area by Omaha Magazine.

Mr. Madsen has been selected as a Fellow in the American College of Trial Lawyers, who are chosen strictly by invitation and only after a rigorous investigation. The American College of Trial Lawyers is limited to the top 1% of the trial lawyers in each individual state and is limited to those lawyers who have distinguished themselves in trial practice and have displayed the highest skill, integrity and ethics.

Early in his career as a lawyer, Mr. Madsen had the honor of being chosen for membership in the Iowa Academy of Trial Lawyers. Membership in the Academy is by invitation only and upon sponsorship and recommendation from peers and judges. Membership is limited to the top 250 trial lawyers in the state who have displayed exceptional trial skills and the highest integrity. Mr. Madsen has been a Board Member of the Academy and is currently serving as Vice President/President Elect.
